Tour Description

This is a amazing 1 day adventure from Bali that allows you to explore the otherworldly beauty of the Ijen Crater and its mesmerizing blue flames.

Begin your journey with a pick up Bali area. Our driver will pick you up using a comfortable private car and transfer you to Gilimanuk port to cross to Java island. Once you arrive in Java, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and head to Paltuding camping ground area. Trek to Mount Ijen, marveling at its sulphuric blue lake surrounded by mountains and its simply mesmerizing blue flame phenomena which sets a magical ambiance around this mystical place.

At the end of the trip you will be dropped off to Bali. You may also request to be dropped of at different area or accommodation in Bali.

Start Time : 18.00 -19.00 (Bali Time)

• 23.00 -- Arrive at Gilimanuk Port and cross to Java Island with ferry
• 00.30 -- Arrive in Java and head to Paltuding camping ground
• 01.30 -- Arrive at Mount Ijen Mt Ijen and have a coffee break
• 02.00 -- Mount Ijen climbing (it takes at least 2 hours – 2,5 hours)
• 04.30 -- Witnessing the Blue Flame and sulfur mining (the blue flame cannot be seen once the sun rises, so we must go at midnight)
• 05.00 -- Sunrise on Mount Ijen
• 06.30 -- Going down from Mt Ijen
• 08.00 -- Have a simple breakfast
• 09.00 -- Drive back to Ketapang port
• 16.00 -- Arrive at your hotel in Bali
